Kayla graduated from The Ohio State University with two degrees in Theatre and International Relations, fluent in Spanish.
She fell in love with teaching theatre to middle schoolers at a magical renovated church called Short Stop where the front door was a butterfly and the sanctuary was her classroom.
Then she rented a u-haul with her cat, Hillary on a voyage down south to Louisville to act on stage and be in new plays with the Actors Theatre of Louisville.
Now, she's in Brooklyn, acting, hosting events, teaching theatre, and working as a freelance administrator.
She's also performing in Off-Off Broadway venues like the Tony Award winning theatre, La Mama, the Obie Award winning The Fire This Time Festival, TBG, and the HERE Arts Center.
